1.     Comprehensive Knowledge of Paperboard substrates, Liners, Laminations and Coatings and Board combinations

 

2.     Graphic printing processes and equipment and converting and pre-press.

·        Folding Cartons, Litho label and Litho Lamination, Pre-print flexo wide and narrow, Post-print flexo, Gravure, Web Offset, Direct Print Offset, Screen Printing, Laser, Digital, Electronic pre-press and Combinations of All

·        Displays—Temporary and Permanent, shelf, standees, sidekicks etc.

·        Hot Stamping, Foils, Laminations and Embossing

·        Print to print, Print to cut, specialty gluing, windowing and various appendages

 

3.     Extensive knowledge of Mechanical Packaging equipment.

·        Kliklok, Clyborn, Adco, Jones, Bradman-lake, SWF, Cecor, Langen, Tanny, Tisma, Douglas, Padlockers and some form, fill and seal equipment

 

4.     Comprehensive knowledge of Structural Designs and applications

 

5.     Extensive Knowledge of Co-Packing and Fulfillment

 

6.     Innovator of Graphic Design concepts

 

7.     Package, Project, Product and  Market development

 

8.     Value Analysis, Total cost of ownership selling (VIP)

 

9.     Extensive knowledge of Packaging and Lab testing requirements

 

10.                        Consumer and Industrial Packaging Market knowledge

·        Food, Beverage, Automotive, and Pharmaceutical

·        Warehouse Clubs

·        Industrial Containers –OEM and Aftermarket applications

·        Films, shrink and stretch and packaging applications & equipment

 

     11. 30 years of National Account Sales Experience in North America

 

    12. Creative emphasis in sales and new account development

 

    13. Inventor with one patent and many applied for.



Skills

Character Qualities desired:

  • Vision-Demonstrates a career pattern that has been focused toward an end goal and hasn’t floundered all about. (We will consider this on a case by case basis—this is often a misunderstood principle)
  • Skill-Ongoing development of selling, project mgt, communication techniques and industry knowledge factors of the graphic/specialty brown corrugated market.
  • Desire-Passionate drive to succeed and to be a critical part of a dynamic team.
  • Chemistry-A fit of mgt style, culture, temperament, with good relational ability.
  • Competency-Practical and knowledge factors—college grad preferred.  (also see skill above)

Professional Qualities desired:

·         5 + years regional or national experience.

·         Proven history of success in selling, opening and mgt of accounts.

·         Proven history of time and territory management.

·         Good driving record

·         Above average communications skills: writing, verbal, computer usage.

·         Comprehensive knowledge of Printing processes: Pre-print, High end Post-print, Litho-lam, Label-lam, Displays and Specialty Brown. Gravure an extra. A good grasp of pre-press.

·         Project management skills.

·         Warehouse fulfillment, Inventory management a plus.
